On the 24 of May in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum the Ulyanovsk region government and Electrifikatsiya JSC concluded the Collaboration agreement for organizing the largest International Wind Energy Forum – ARWE. The agreement was signed by Sergey Morozov, the Ulyanovsk region Governor and Vladimir Zatynaiko, General Director of Electrifikatsiya JSC.
The Parties agreed to work in close collaboration on organization of ARWE-2019 in part of technical and information support, administrative support, attraction of Russian and foreign partners.
The event aimed at the development of renewable energy in Russia, presentation and promotion of implemented projects in the RES industry will be held in Q2, 2019 at the site of Ulyanovsk nanotechnology center ULNANOTECH with support of the Russian Association of the Wind Power Industry (RAWI).
“The Ulyanovsk region can be rightfully regarded as a founder of a new industry for Russia: we have launched the first wind farm in our country. Moreover, I am happy that we now have such an outstanding partner jointly with which and with other Russian and foreign companies, we will work on promotion of renewable energy. Of course, joint efforts will give us the opportunity to organize conferences, forums, and various expert platforms at the high organizational level attracting the maximum number of participants from all over the world. Our partners have experience, knowledge and intention. These three components prove that we are on the right way.” – noted Sergey Morozov, the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region.
According to the organizers, ARWE-2019 will house the conference, exhibition and technological tour.
Vladimir Zatynaiko commented that such events facilitate the exchange of information on new technologies and innovations and provide a unique opportunity for an open dialogue among experts, government officials and key industry players. Furthermore, the congress and exhibition activity demonstrates the openness of the region, opens up new opportunities in terms of partnership and implementation of investment projects, thus forming an innovative image not only of individual regions, but also of Russia as a whole.
